‘The Bakery’ - lovely find. Everything is baked here and there is lots of variety of sweet things; a little less savoury. We had a muffin and scone - both very tasty. (2 pats of butter rather than 1 would’ve been more realistic for the size of scone 🤭). Flat white and cappuccino were good. No toilets 😕
Oh my gosh…completely delicious. You’ll want to eat everything at An Bácús! It was such fun to grab a coffee and pastries here. The gingerbread cookies and croissants were a big hit. We even met a lovely family from Dublin who were so kind to our toddler son. Fun place for a spontaneous conversation with fellow travelers.
Pro Tips:
- Seating is limited so plan ahead if you’re coming with a large party!
- Buy a gingerbread cookie…you won’t regret it!
Modern bakery with wide range of baked breads, patisserie, sandwiches. Extremely helpful owners gave what proved to be excellent guidance on local visits, most notably for seeing the cliffs. They encouraged us to visit the cliffs just south of Kilkee first. Much wilder and less visited that the Cliffs of Moher. Oh and the ham sandwich on baguette was perfect!!
